This new Travis Rice commercial where he barely avoids being sucked down the face of a mountain by an avalanche is not so un-amazing (watch it here). Peep, peeps!

Transworld has an online-exclusive interview with Jereme Rogers. In it, Rogers dishes on the real reason why he left Girl for Plan B, which apparently had to do with board sales and nothing else. (To quote a certain vid a certain somebody starred in, “Yeah, Right!”) As much as Sherm says he only left over his cut of the royalties, I find it really curious that he says Colin McKay “called me literally the day I got off (Girl).” Timing of that fateful call seems a little too good to be true, no? I mean, I’d never call Rogers a sell-out or anything - he’s still one of the best in the game - but if you want to ride with your buds and try to start an all-star street team, then just admit as much. Don’t trash Girl’s good name, you know? Though maybe he’s telling it straight. Who knows?
Anyway, some other nuggets you’ll pick up from the interview include: why Sherm left Billabong for Famous, why he and P-Rod started sk8site.com, and his relationship with God. That last one really surprised me. Honestly, I had no idea that the lil’ bastard from Boston was so religious. I guess the neck tats threw me off; though looking at the one above, I guess it should’ve been obvious. Nice job by me. Either way, it’s a solid, albeit short, read. Check it out.
